A smooth transition for new grads
The transition of student nurse into a practicing professional nurse is challenging and often takes a year for the graduate nurse to master. At Reading Hospital, Tower Health’s flagship facility, our Vizient Nurse Residency Program eases this transition and closes the gap between student status and professional practice. Vizient connects members with opportunities to learn, improve, and build. Together with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), participants can access top training resources in their effort to deliver better care. The Nurse Residency Program (NRP) focuses on new graduate nurses as they enter practice with an evidence-based curriculum that delivers on Leadership, Patient Safety Outcomes, and Professional Development. All newly hired, newly graduated nurses will participate in the Nurse Residency Program.

Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing
Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing is a 174,000-square-foot, three-story, free-standing rehabilitation facility and the only hospital in the region to be accredited by both the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and The Joint Commission.
Pottstown Hospital is a 232-bed, acute care hospital offering an extensive range of services.
We are 1,150 healthcare professionals strong, with 260 physicians representing 40 medical specialties, serving the healthcare needs of residents in Pottstown and surrounding areas.

Chestnut Hill Hospital
Chestnut Hill Hospital is a community-based, university-affiliated, 148-bed teaching hospital that provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient, diagnostic, and treatment services for our neighbors in Northwest Philadelphia and eastern Montgomery County. More than 300 board-certified physicians compose the medical staff and support a wide range of medical specialties.
Less than an hour from Philadelphia and conveniently located on the Route 30 bypass between Downingtown and Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, Brandywine Hospital is a 171-licensed-bed, acute care medical facility that has provided a continuum of care for more than 100 years. We continue to expand upon our medical staff and add enhanced services to meet the community’s needs.
Phoenixville Hospital is a 151-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through approximately 25,000 emergency room visits, 8,200 inpatient admissions, and more than 500 community outreach programs annually. Serving Southeastern Pennsylvania, we offer a full range of services and programs to meet the community’s healthcare needs.
