WHERE DIVERSITY IS CELEBRATED

MLK Community Healthcare is a private, nonprofit, safety-net hospital serving 1.3 million residents in South Los Angeles. It is also one of the most diverse places to work in the United States. A majority of MLKCH’s staff are people of color, with a significant percentage drawn from the South Los Angeles area we serve. Under the leadership of Dr. Elaine Batchlor, our 131-bed hospital has garnered accolades for its visionary leadership, state-of-the-art technology, and commitment to providing the highest standard of care to our diverse and long-underserved community. Together, we are changing the way health care is provided in South LA.

MLKCH is committed to supporting and advancing the careers of our nurses through on-the-job training and support. We offer a nursing new graduate residency program as well as a transition-to-practice fellowship for experienced nurses. We also offer full-time nurse educators, tuition reimbursement, generous benefits, 3-4 day work weeks, PTO and much more.

Since we opened our doors in 2015, we’ve made a meaningful impact on the lives and health of tens of thousands of our neighbors. If you’re committed to making a difference with your work, come work with us.
