Mandating Nurses To Stay At Work?

I’d like to know if it is appropriate for the Director of Nursing to threaten your license as blackmail for purposes of mandating nurses to stay at work?

Answer:
Miscommunication or not communicating a concern in appropriate manner can lead to distrust.
Make sometime to sit down with the Director of Nursing to review your concern if you feel threatened or blackmailed.
Follow the chain of command set by your organization and human resources for matters such as this.
I hope this helps.
